Shosanna (Laurent) witnesses the execution of her family at the hand of Nazi Col. Landa (Waltz). Shosanna flees to Paris to forge a new identity as the owner of a cinema. Elsewhere, Lt. Raine (Pitt) organizes a group of Jewish soldiers, known to enemies as "The Basterds," to engage in acts of retribution. Raine's squad joins German actress and undercover agent Bridget (Kruger) on a mission to take down the leaders of the Third Reich. But fates converge under a cinema marquee, where Shosanna is poised to carry out a revenge plan of her own...
